Why Do You Need To Protect Your Energy?
Energy protection is needed to maintain physical, mental, and emotional well-being by preventing depletion, burnout, and negative impacts from external sources.
We are all energy, we contain energy and create it, some good, some not so good and everything and everyone has an impact on us without even realising it, unless you have been awakened through life's lessons.
An example of an energy attack is simply waking up in the morning feeling great only to find that you turn up to work or at a friends house and your mood shifts....suddenly you feel stressed, pressured, upset or you can even feel their pain or suffering.
Some people, like myself, can feel others talking or being negative towards them or wishing them harm in some way. I have learnt to be aware, so i know where it's located, but keep it at arms length so it does not affect me using various personalised techniques.
To function in life you have to learn to disconnect from everything that doesn't belong to you so self love boundaries are very important.
How Do You Protect Your Energy?
1) Sleep is a great way of disconnecting from everything and everyone and it allows us to heal on levels outside of our conscious ability.
2) Eating & drinking the right foods. Wellbeing starts with looking after ourselves on every level to what we put into our bodies aswell as what we put onto them. If we are healthier all around it makes us more aware of any internal or external changes in energy.
3) Exercise can reduce stress and manage your overal wellbeing. If you're feeling stronger within you create a positive strong aura around you.
4) Practice setting boundaries. Be mindful of how much time youre committing to someone or something. Be selective about who and how much time you spend with certain people, learn to say no. Establish clear boundaries with work & personal life and stick to it. and for all emotional boundaries, practice mindfulness and detachment.
5) Mindfulness, stay in the present moment, avoid dwelling on negative thoughts or emotions.
6) Declutter your environments, house, home, relationships & your mind.
7) Use positive affirmations to reinforce positive self talk/love and to help build positive energy.
8) Visualisation, imagine yourself surrounded by positive energy, put a cape of protection on, visualise outward facing mirrors to reflect negativity away from you.
9) Ask your Angels & Spirit Guides for their protection (of you don't ask, you don't get!)
10) Darker crystals like tourmaline, black obsidian are good for rebelling negative energies and aid grounding and protection aswell as Tigers Eye. So carry these on you in some form.
11) Salt is also a negative repellant. Carry it or bathe in it reguarly will help cleanse your space and protect you. This is why salt lamps are good within the home too.
12) Smudging, using sage will help to eliminate bad vibes and toxic energy within and externally.
By implementing these strategies, you can create a more sustainable and balanced approach to managing your energy and protecting yourself from draining influences.
